I recently had the absolute pleasure of DJing for the lovely Mr. & Mrs. Turner, Sam & Daniel, at their evening wedding reception held at the stunning Beeston Manor, one of my favourite venues in Lancashire to play. This wedding had everything: sunshine, country vibes, clubland classics, and non-stop dancing!
A Magical Start: Sunset First Dance Outdoors
We kicked off the evening in true fairytale style with a sunset first dance on the garden patio area of Beeston Manor. It was pure magic watching Sam & Daniel take their first dance as husband and wife to “Carry You Home” by Alex Warren with the last rays of the sun casting a golden glow over the grounds. Guests didn’t waste a second before joining in, and we kept the outdoor vibes going with a fun and relaxed party under the open sky until nightfall.
The Party Moves Inside – Country Hits to 90s Clubland Classics!
As the sky darkened, the celebrations moved inside to Beeston Manor’s beautifully rustic function suite. Sam & Daniel had curated a brilliant musical journey that really brought the party to life. We started with some country hits early in the evening – think everything from the Woolpackers Hillbilly Rock to Beyonce Texas Hold ’em & some singalong anthems – before gradually turning things up a notch.

By mid-evening, we were in full 90s clubland territory – the kind of energy that gets everyone on their feet. From N-Trance to Cascada, the dancefloor stayed packed all night long. We even threw in a few guilty pleasures and wedding classics to keep everyone from the grandparents to the groomsmen happy. The bride & groom really knew how to get the balance just right – and I was there to make sure the transitions flowed perfectly.
