Hi, I’m Andy from Andy B Events, and I recently had the absolute pleasure of providing my wedding DJ services for the beautiful evening reception of Mr & Mrs Penman (Naomi & Michael) at the stunning Hobbit Hill wedding venue in Clitheroe – and what an unforgettable night it was!

First Time DJing at Hobbit Hill, Clitheroe

This was my very first time playing at Hobbit Hill, and I have to say – what a magical setting for a wedding! Nestled in the gorgeous Ribble Valley countryside, Hobbit Hill offers breath taking views, rustic charm, and a truly romantic vibe that made it the perfect backdrop for Naomi & Michael’s country-themed wedding.

Country Vibes and a Personal Touch

Naomi & Michael are big country music fans, and they really brought that Nashville energy to Lancashire! Their first dance was to the heartfelt classic “Millionaire” by Chris Stapleton – a beautiful choice that set the tone for the evening. Throughout the night, we kept the country vibes flowing with favourites from Luke Combs, Darius Rucker, and of course, Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler” – which had everyone singing along!

To finish the night in style, we had an emotional last dance to “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton – a perfect ending to a perfect celebration.

The Perfect Party Mix – Country, Classics & EMO!

As much as the country theme was central to the night, we made sure to include a great mix of the usual wedding party favourites to keep the dance floor alive! From singalong anthems to floor-fillers that had all ages up and dancing, it was a brilliant atmosphere all night long.

And a special shout-out to Michael – we put together a high-energy EMO set just for the groom, packed with alternative classics that took us back to the golden era of eyeliner and power chords. It was a huge hit and really added that personal touch to the evening entertainment.

Fun Photo Booth Fun from Andy B Events

Alongside our professional wedding DJ services, Naomi & Michael also booked one of our fab fun photo booths, which was a big hit with their guests! With plenty of props and instant print-outs, it was the perfect addition to their wedding reception and helped capture some hilarious and heart warming memories throughout the night.
