12th April ’14 – Pleased to be hired to provide my mobile DJ services for a private party at the Imperial hotel in Blackpool. It was a reunion party for the shipmates/crew of British Aircraft Carrier, HMS Hermes.
They had hired out the Washington Suite of this grand 4 star hotel on Blackpool’s sea front for their final night of the stay. We had nearly 100 guests attending, mostly the older generation, but they were fit enough to get up for a dance!
After dinner, we had speeches & a raffle/auction before cracking on with the party. Played a mix of all those big party hits from the last 5 decades! Fun night!
& of course, we had a finale to Rod Stewart ‘Sailing’!
