16th November ’13 – Pleased to be hired for the wedding party of Mr & Mrs Worthington at Manchester Town Hall. Fab setting for a wedding party! We were in the banqueting suite of the Town Hall. It was also the first weekend of the Manchester Christmas market which made a great scene looking out from the windows!
They had actually hired my disco services from 5.30pm which is when they came into the Banqueting Hall to commence their wedding breakfast. I played a selection of their chosen songs throughout, along with a few light favourites of my own. At the end of the wedding breakfast, we had speeches from the father of the bride, groom & best man. Of course, they were welcome to use my wireless microphone for this.
We got the evening reception underway at approx. 8pm & the cake cutting followed by the first dance shortly afterwards. They performed this to ‘hold my hand’ from Michael Jackson featuring Akon.
Thereafter, they had sent me a playlist of approx. 30 songs which were mostly 70’s & 80’s hits which I mixed up with quite a few guest requests, fun night!

Prices at Manchester Town Hall start from £325 which covers the first 5 hours playing time, for example 7pm till midnight. Many clients at the Town Hall opt to have me set up prior to the wedding breakfast which is £30 per hour for any extra time. This could also include an extension till 1am.
Another popular add on at Manchester Town Hall is my up lighters, these cost £14 each or £120 for a set of 12 which are set around the room to your preferred colour. Price is based on me setting them up at the same time as the disco.
