15th June ’13 – We were pleased to be involved in 2 wedding discos in Lancashire on this particular wedding Saturday in June. Both were at popular wedding venues which we provide a lot of wedding discos & entertainment too.

DJ Stu was playing at the Dunkenhalgh hotel, a fab 4 star hotel in Clayton Le Moors, Blackburn. The wedding coordinator there often recommends us to her clients which I think says a lot about being able to trust us to do the job right for you!

I was also providing my wedding disco in Lancashire, at Beeston Manor in Preston. One of my favourite wedding venues in Preston, the owners also recommend our wedding discos, so again, hopefully, says something about being able to trust us to get it right!

As well as my wedding disco, Mr & Mrs Breen had also booked 2 of our fun casino tables as some peripheral entertainment after the wedding breakfast. These work especially well in the upstairs room at Beeston Manor & straight after the wedding breakfast is a good time to have them. They fill the gap during the room turnaround & serve as an ice breaker for the first hour of the evening (typically approx. 6.15pm to 8.15pm).

In addition to my normal disco lighting, they had also hired 12 uplighters which I set up around the room, providing a colourful wash on the walls. These can be set to a colour of your choice. On this occasion, Emma, the bride, wanted a petrol blue to match the bridesmaids dresses.

Their first dance was performed to Kings of Leon ‘Use Somebody’. Part way through, we invited guests to join them. Then it was time for some live music from an Irish band who played 2 sets of Contemporary Irish numbers which kept the dance floor busy.

Then the disco went wild! Top night! played mostly up to date chart music with some Indie/Rock chucked in & a 90’s dance set then a big finale to Oasis ‘Don’t look back in anger’. I managed to get a short clip of it –

Had the following message back from Emma – ‘Hi Andy, Just back from Honeymoon and wanted to say a massive thank you for a brilliant night, We Loved every minute of it!!
