A slightly different event for me this time — a fantastic 40th birthday party at The Venue in Maghull for birthday girl Jenny!
The Venue in Maghull is a fab event and function space for all kinds of celebrations, from birthdays and anniversaries to parties, corporate events and wedding receptions.
And this one was extra special for me because Jenny had hired me for her wedding party a few years ago, so it was lovely to be asked back to provide the music for another big celebration!
40th Birthday DJ Maghull
We started the evening with a mixture of music suitable for the younger guests, helping to get everyone settled into the party atmosphere before the main celebrations got underway.
After food, it was time for one of the big moments of the evening.
I got Jenny up on stage and invited everyone to join in singing Happy Birthday as her birthday cake was brought out.
Jenny thanked everyone for coming along, and then it was time to turn the music up and get the party properly started!

From there it was a great night of music, dancing and plenty of fun with friends and family.
It’s always brilliant when I get to play for the same clients more than once. Being asked back after providing the music for someone’s wedding is a huge compliment and one of the things I love about being a DJ.
Whether it’s a 40th birthday, 50th birthday, anniversary, wedding, engagement party or another big celebration, I can tailor the music and entertainment around the people in the room.
And, of course, no big party is complete without a proper finale!
We finished the night with Angels by Robbie Williams — a big singalong to bring a great evening to a close.
