What a top night at Wyresdale Park celebrating James & Chantelle – Mr & Mrs Dunne!
I was delighted to provide the wedding DJ services and enhanced lighting setup for their evening reception, along with a fantastic freestyle saxophonist, and what a combination it was!
Wyresdale Park is a fantastic wedding venue in Scorton, Lancashire, and the combination of a great wedding DJ, enhanced lighting and live saxophone entertainment really does take an evening reception to another level.

James & Chantelle hired my wedding DJ services along with my enhanced lighting package, which looked fantastic at Wyresdale Park.
My enhanced lighting setup works particularly well for evening weddings, adding extra atmosphere once the room starts to transform from the formal part of the wedding into the party.

First Dance – Olivia Rodrigo
James & Chantelle chose Honey Bee by Olivia Rodrigo for their first dance.
The newlyweds took to the dance floor together before we opened things up and got the evening party properly underway.
From there, it was time for a brilliant mixture of party favourites, modern hits, classics — and, of course, some absolutely massive saxophone bangers!
Live Freestyle Saxophone & Wedding DJ
One of the things that really elevated this wedding was the addition of a freestyle saxophonist, who joined me for a couple of live sets during the evening.
I absolutely love the combination of DJ + live saxophone at weddings.
The DJ keeps the music flowing and controls the soundtrack, while the saxophonist gets out amongst the guests and adds that live, interactive element to the biggest dance-floor moments.
It can take an already great wedding party and turn it into something really memorable.
From dance-floor classics to modern party tracks, there are so many opportunities for the saxophonist to jump in and add those big live moments.

James & Chantelle had a brilliant mixture of music throughout the evening.
We went from ABBA and Bruce Springsteen through to Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift, with plenty of other party favourites thrown into the mix.
And then there were all those sax bangers!
That’s exactly the kind of wedding party I love — music from different generations and genres, all working together to keep the dance floor moving.
There isn’t a magic playlist that works for every wedding. It’s about understanding the couple, knowing what their guests enjoy and being able to read the room on the night.
A Big Oasis Finish
We finished the night with an absolute classic — Don’t Look Back in Anger by Oasis.
A huge singalong, a packed dance floor and a brilliant way to bring the evening to a close.
Those final songs of the night are always important. You want something that gets everyone together, singing their hearts out and making the most of those final few minutes on the dance floor.
And Oasis certainly delivered!
