Beeston Manor – One of My Favourite Lancashire Wedding Venues
After well over a decade as the recommended wedding DJ at Beeston Manor, it’s fair to say I’ve come to know this incredible venue inside out.
Located in the beautiful Lancashire countryside just outside Preston, Beeston Manor is one of the county’s most sought-after wedding venues. The stunning Woodland Suite, picturesque surroundings and fantastic team make it an absolute pleasure to work there, and every wedding has its own unique atmosphere.
It’s always a privilege to return, especially when I’m fortunate enough to be entertaining there on consecutive nights!
Cake Cutting & First Dance
As evening guests arrived, it was time to gather everyone around the dance floor for the traditional cake cutting before introducing the newlyweds for their first dance.
Chloe & Ellis chose Yellow by Coldplay, a beautiful and timeless first dance that perfectly suited the occasion.
As always, I gave the happy couple a few special moments together before inviting family and friends to join them on the dance floor.
To be honest, they hardly needed any encouragement!
Guests were already eager to celebrate, and within moments the dance floor was absolutely full.
From there, the energy never dipped.
A Wedding Soundtrack Built Around the Couple
Before the wedding, Chloe & Ellis had sent me a playlist to give me a feel for the atmosphere they wanted to create.
As a professional Lancashire wedding DJ, I always encourage couples to share their favourite music before the big day so I can build the evening around their tastes.
Their playlist included a fantastic mix of:
- Current chart favourites
- Wedding classics
- Cheesy party anthems
- Dance floor favourites
Combined with requests from guests and reading the room throughout the evening, it made for the perfect soundtrack to an incredible celebration.
Even the World Cup Couldn’t Stop the Party!
One thing that made this wedding particularly memorable was that it took place while England were playing Panama in the FIFA World Cup.
Normally you’d expect a football match of that size to tempt guests away from the dance floor for a while…
Not this crowd!
The party atmosphere was simply too good.
Of course, as the evening’s host I kept everyone updated with the score, giving a shout-out whenever England found the net and celebrating the victory with everyone in the room.
It added a fun talking point to the evening without ever slowing the celebrations, and the dance floor remained packed throughout.
A Huge Finale to Robbie Williams
As the night drew to a close, everyone came together for one final singalong.
We finished with the ever-popular Angels by Robbie Williams, with guests arm in arm, singing every word at the top of their voices.
It was the perfect ending to another brilliant wedding reception at Beeston Manor.
