The Glass House, Staining – One of My Favourite Blackpool Wedding Venues
As a regular wedding DJ at The Glass House, I can honestly say it’s one of my favourite venues in the Blackpool and Fylde Coast area. The modern layout, great acoustics, and welcoming atmosphere make it perfect for couples who want a lively and memorable evening reception.
Whether it’s a weekday or weekend wedding, it’s a venue that always delivers an amazing party – and this one proved exactly that.
First Dance to Fleetwood Mac – A Perfect Start
Ella & Ryan chose Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac for their first dance – an absolute classic and a great way to kick off the evening.
After letting them enjoy that special moment, I invited guests to join them on the dance floor, and within moments it was filling up nicely. From there, the energy just kept building… and it never really dropped all night.
80s Classics, Northern Soul & Dance Floor Anthems
The music for the night was a brilliant mix, including:
- 80s classics
- Northern Soul favourites
- 90s & 00s dance floor hits
As an experienced Lancashire wedding DJ, I always tailor the music to each couple and their guests, blending their requests with proven floor-fillers to keep everyone dancing.
This crowd brought loads of energy – especially for a Tuesday night!
The Wedding DJ Conga – Love Train Style!
One of the standout moments of the night had to be the giant conga that formed on the dance floor… but with a bit of a twist.
We did it wedding DJ style to Love Train by The O’Jays – and it went down an absolute storm! These are the kinds of spontaneous, fun moments that make a wedding really memorable.

This was a perfect example of how a great couple, a lively crowd, and the right music can create an unforgettable wedding night – no matter what day of the week it is.
