I had the pleasure of providing my mobile DJ services in Leyland for a fantastic surprise 40th birthday party at Fox Lane Sports Club. The celebration was organised by Helen’s husband, Steven, who pulled out all the stops to make the night one to remember.
Alongside my DJ set, Steven also hired a few of our most popular extras from Andy B Events – including giant light up “40” numbers, our stunning sparkling white LED dance floor, and even a double flowing chocolate fountain to tempt the guests throughout the evening.
The Big Surprise
Once all the guests had arrived, we got ready for Helen’s grand entrance. As soon as she walked through the doors, the whole room erupted – and yes, we managed to pull off the surprise perfectly! Helen was over the moon to see all her friends and family gathered to celebrate her big milestone.
Drinks, Food & Then the Party Started!
After guests enjoyed drinks and food, it was time to hit the dance floor. I’d already had a chat with Steven beforehand, and his main request was to keep things fun and cheesy with plenty of classic party favourites.
So that’s exactly what we did – from party dances and classic rock anthems, through to ABBA, Spice Girls, Westlife, 90s dance floor fillers like Freed From Desire, and of course singalong floor shakers like Cotton Eye Joe!
I’m pleased to say that Helen, along with her friends and family, barely left the dance floor all night. The atmosphere was electric, and it was a real privilege to DJ for such a brilliant crowd.
A Top Night in Leyland
