As a professional wedding DJ and host in Lancashire, I’ve had the pleasure of entertaining at many beautiful venues, but one that never fails to impress is Beeston Manor near Preston. I was recently honoured to provide full-day wedding entertainment for the lovely Abby & Ben, now Mr & Mrs Hollingsworth, & it was one of those days that reminded me why I love what I do.

Hosting the Wedding Breakfast… Setting the Perfect Atmosphere

From the moment I arrived at Beeston Manor, I knew it was going to be a special day. Abby & Ben booked me, DJ Andy B, to host their wedding breakfast and provide seamless entertainment throughout. As a wedding host, I made sure everything ran smoothly… from introducing the happy couple as Mr & Mrs Hollingsworth to coordinating speeches and keeping guests smiling throughout the meal.

The venue looked stunning, and the staff at Beeston Manor were, as always, fantastic to work with. It’s truly one of Lancashire’s premier wedding venues, offering the perfect setting for a relaxed and romantic celebration.

Moving the Party Outdoors… Sunshine, Love & Dancing

As luck would have it, the weather was absolutely glorious – sunny skies and warm air, perfect for making the most of Beeston Manor’s picturesque outdoor space. With the grounds looking so beautiful, we made a last-minute decision to take the early evening festivities outside.

It was here, under the golden glow of the setting sun, that one of the most touching moments of the day took place. I had the honour of hosting the father-daughter dance – a truly emotional moment as Abby danced with her dad, surrounded by friends and family. Then, in a seamless transition, I invited Ben to take over, and we moved into their sunset first dance to Fall Into Me by Forest Blakk. It was magical – the kind of moment you dream about when planning your wedding.

Outdoor Wedding Party… Dancing Until Dark

With the atmosphere already electric, we kept the party going outside at Beeston Manor, dancing into the twilight with a mix of laid-back tunes and feel-good tracks. As darkness fell, we moved the celebration back indoors where I turned up the energy for the evening reception.

Cheesy Party Anthems & Clubland Classics

Once inside, it was time for the real party to begin! I delivered a fun-filled set packed with cheesy party favourites, wedding classics, and of course, a dose of Clubland anthems to get the dance floor bouncing. From singalongs to dance-offs, the energy was incredible, a real celebration of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
