13th September ’14 – My first visit to Manchester’s Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) to provide my wedding DJ services for Mr & Mrs Owen’s big day.
Great unique setting for a wedding party! The museum closes to the general public at 5pm & we had guests arriving from 6pm for a drinks reception. Before food was served, we had speeches from the groom & best man. It turned out the bride & groom were science fiction fans! Throughout the wedding breakfast they had selected a collection of science fiction soundtracks to be played.
As well as my disco services, they had also hired 12 up lighters for around the hall to add to the atmosphere.
Their first dance was performed to Muse ‘Madness’ around 9pm.
Then it was party time! Played through till 1am, top night! All the best to Mr & Mrs Owen!

As a guide, DJ prices start from £295 which covers 5 hours, additional time is £30 per hour. Uplighters are £14 each or £120 for a set of 12.
