28th February ’14 – Mr & Mrs Coombes hired me to provide my wedding disco services for their big day at Croxteth Hall. Now managed by the City of Liverpool as an important Heritage site, this historic hall is a fab setting for a wedding party.
We usually hold the discos in the library, & tonight’s wedding party was no exception. As well as my DJ services, they also hired 12 uplighters for around the room set to blue to match their colour scheme. First time I’ve used my uplighters in Croxteth Hall & have to say, I thought they looked fab!
Rockin’ night! They had requested ‘Baby I’m yours’ (the Arctic Monkeys cover version) for their first dance & to follow this up with ‘Get Lucky’ from daft Punk which started off the dancing nicely.
Joe & Clare (the bride & groom) had asked for a few 90’s Indie tunes & some 60’s like the Beatles etc, other than that, pretty much left me to it apart from the finale which the groom wanted a triple track finish to ‘World in motion’, ‘Champagne Supernova’ & ‘Let it be’

As a guide, prices start from £275 which covers 5 hours playing time. Any additional time is £30 per hour.
Uplighters are £14 each or £120 for a set of 12. Price is based on me setting them up at the same time as the disco & can be set to a variety of colours.
