15th February ’14 – A pleasure to be back at Wood Hall hotel. This fabulous West Yorkshire Country House on the outskirts of Wetherby makes an idyllic setting for a wedding party.
On this occasion we were celebrating Mr & Mrs Leeming’s big day, they had hired my wedding DJ services for the evening reception along with 12 uplighters to be set around the room.
Their first dance was performed to Florence & the Machine ‘Shake it out’ & unbeknown to me (or the guests for that matter), they had a choreographed routine worked out to it much to the delight of the guests!
Then throughout the night, they had pretty much left the music up to me, just asking for a mix of music but avoiding party dances & not too keen on R&B.
Great night! Dance floor was full throughout, mostly chart & party favourites with a bit of 90’s dance towards the end. Then a finale to ‘New York New York’ – All the best to Mr & Mrs Leeming!
