7th September ’13 – Great to be hired by Mr & Mrs McLoughlin for their big day at Farington Lodge in the Leyland area of Preston, Lancashire. They booked my wedding DJ services from 7.30pm till 1am plus 2 of our fab fun casino tables from 6pm till 8pm.

Our fun casino table hire is really popular for weddings. Especially in venues such as Farington Lodge. Reason being is that they are a great fun way of keeping guests entertained during the room turnaround between the wedding breakfast & the evening reception. Then through the first hour of the evening as an ice breaker. Venues like Farington Lodge have a separate bar area which you are ushered into during this turnaround which is a perfect place for the casino tables to be set.

 After the casino tables had finished, we got proceedings underway back in the main function room. I invited guests to gather around the dance floor before inviting the bride & groom up to cut their cake & perform their first dance as man & wife! They had secretly put together a whole routine which included bits from Dirty Dancing, Grease, Gangnam & MC Hammer! All good fun, which the guests joined in for the finale to ‘Marry you’ from Bruno Mars.

 After the first dance, we had live music from a local rock/Indie band who played 2 sets through the night. For the main disco, they’d sent me a playlist of around 40 odd songs which were a mix of some current favourites such as ‘Blurred Lines’, ‘Play Hard’ & ‘Don’t you worry Child’ a bit of Soul & Motown, a few more Indie tracks, some soft rock & a selection of cheesy party favourites! For their last song, they picked Michael Buble’s cover of ‘Save the last dance for me’, quite appropriate!

So, if you’re looking for an experienced wedding DJ for your big day at Farington Lodge or throughout Preston, email your enquiry to andy@andybevents.co.uk As a guide, expect to pay £250 for the first 5 hours playing time, any additional time is £30 per hour.

The minimum hire for our fab casino tables is 2 tables (blackjack & roulette) which cost £375 for both in the Preston area. 2 is generally enough for small to medium sized wedding parties. As a guide, I normally suggest a minimum of 1 table per 50 guests. Additional tables then cost £175 each.

The tables are, in my opinion, the nicest looking fun tables in the area. They come complete with croupiers, gaming chips & funny money/vouchers (these can be personalised for the cost of the printing approx £25 for 125). We also put star cloth skirting’s around them for a glitzy finish! We offer a bottle of bubbly for the biggest winner. (although you can put in your own prize if you like). I’d normally say 2 hours is long enough for fun tables but we can do longer if needed for an extra cost. Timings are up to your self, but do work well after the wedding breakfast through till the early evening around 6.30pm till 8.30pm.

Price is based on staff arriving approx. 1 hour before you want them up & running to set them up. If you require them set up earlier, there is an additional cost.
