22nd March ’13 – Was hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Stringfellow’s big day at Ashfield House in Standish, Wigan. They certainly got a white wedding! There must have been 4/5ft of snow fall that evening over Wigan! Ashfield House is a nice little country house venue, great for wedding parties. We had around 60 or so guests for the evening reception who were staying there all night whether they wanted too or not as they were snowed in! 

Emma had sent me quite a comprehensive playlist beforehand which included Lionel Richie ‘All night long’ as their first dance to be followed up with ‘No speak Americano’ & then Dave Morales remix of ‘Space Cowboy’. Unusual choices but guests got into the spirit of it!

The rest of the list was mostly 90’s dance tracks with a few cheesy favourites thrown in such as the Dirty dancing mix! Also, ‘He ain’t heavy’ for Lee’s (the groom) sister. This brought us nicely to the midnight finale which was ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ All the best to Emma & Lee!

Have since had the following email from Emma – 

Hi Andy,

Just wanted to say a big Thank-you for being our DJ back on 22nd March we have only just returned from Honeymoon hence why I haven’t been in-touch before.

We had a great night and many people commented on how great the music was – so a big thankyou from myself and lee on that.
