3rd March ’13 – Mr & Mrs Johnson hired my wedding disco services for their big day at Bartle hall hotel on the outskirts of Preston. Bartle Hall is  a popular wedding venue & one I play at regularly. On this occasion, the disco was in the Windsor suite which is in the main hotel of Bartle Hall.

The bride & groom had picked ‘At last’ by Etta James to perform their first dance too. As well as the disco, they had also booked local singer ‘Bethan’ who sang her first set straight after the first dance & her 2nd set after the buffet. Then it was time for the main disco. Elizabeth (the bride) had told me she was into music by Florence & the Machine, Emeli Sande, RnB, some classics too but no boy band type tracks from the likes of One Direction! I played a mix of music including quite a few requests. Some of the teenage lads wanted to show off their Harlem Shaking moves! (disturbin’!)

My wedding discos at Bartle Hall cost £250 which covers playing times of 7.30pm till 1am. For smaller parties, you may want to consider having a midnight finish for the disco, in which case I can reduce the price to £225. Any additional time costs £25 per hour.
