24th February ’13 – Andy B Events were pleased to be attending a wedding open day at the Dunkenhalgh hotel on the outskirts of Blackburn. The wedding co ordinator at the Dunkenhalgh puts on these wedding open days once a month which are a great opportunity for brides & grooms to be to explore the hotel & have a chat with some of the Dunkenhalgh’s service providers such as myself who offer various services & products especially aimed at wedding parties.

For those not familiar with the Dunkenhalgh, the 4 star Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa is a 175 room property. This Blackburn hotel is a converted 700 year old country manor in a tranquil setting. The function suites can hold wedding parties of up to 300 guests.

As well as the wedding open day, we also had the actual wedding fayre on the 3rd March which we were also exhibiting at. We offer the following entertainment & disco related products & services for your big day at the Dunkenhalgh (& throughout Lancashire).

Your wedding DJ: We have a select few very experienced wedding DJ’s who will do a great job for you. As a guide, expect to pay £250 to cover playing times of 7.30pm till 1am at the Dunkenhalgh & throughout Blackburn (or £225 till midnight).

Casino tables! The surprise hit of many a wedding party! We’ve found they work really well to fill the gap between the wedding breakfast & the evening reception then carry on through the first hour of the evening.
