11th March ’12 – Hired to provide my disco & kids entertainment package for the christening party of Ebony at the Wainwright club in Blackpool. Martin & Jayne, the parents have hired my disco services for both their wedding party & one of their birthday parties. This was the first party they had held with children in mind!
It was the first time I’d played at the Wainwright club, nice function room upstairs, perfect for christenings & such like. We started off with some chart music in the background as guests arrive through the buffet. After food, I rounded up the children to have a go at plate spinning then sat them down for my magical fun show with some balloon modelling & a couple of party dances thrown in! We had a couple of disco breaks throughout the afternoon & some party games for the kids including Limbo! For the last 45 minutes or so, I aimed the disco more for the adults/families rather than just the children & we managed to get quite a few up dancing! Great fun afternoon!
