What a fantastic night celebrating Kelly & Lewis – the new Mr & Mrs Dunderdale!

I provided the wedding DJ entertainment for their twilight wedding at Beeston Manor, with my services running from 6pm until 12.30am. They also hired our fabulous 12ft x 14ft superior-quality white LED dance floor, which looked fantastic and really helped set the scene for their evening celebrations.

Wedding Breakfast Hosting & Grand Entrance

Once the guests were ready and everyone had made their way into the room, it was time to welcome the newlyweds with a grand entrance for Kelly & Lewis.

As part of my wedding DJ and hosting services, I also hosted the speeches before the food was served, helping the evening run smoothly and ensuring everyone knew what was happening and when.

For twilight weddings, having someone who can coordinate the different elements of the evening can make a real difference. 12ft x 14ft White LED Wedding Dance Floor

Kelly and Lewis chose our 12ft x 14ft superior-quality white LED dance floor, which looked fantastic as part of their wedding setup at Beeston Manor.

A white LED dance floor creates a real focal point for the evening reception, giving guests a dedicated space to dance while adding that extra wow factor to the room.

We use a hard-wired LED dance floor system, rather than relying on the cheaper wireless alternatives sometimes offered elsewhere. For couples investing in their wedding entertainment, the quality of the equipment and the way it’s installed are important considerations.

Combined with my professional wedding DJ setup, it helped create a brilliant setting for Kelly and Lewis’s evening party.

First Dance – The Lumineers, Hey Ho

After the wedding breakfast formalities, it was time to kick off the main party!

Kelly and Lewis chose Hey Ho by The Lumineers for their first dance — a brilliant choice to get the evening celebrations underway.

The newlyweds started on the dance floor together, and halfway through the song, I invited their family and friends to join them.

That was the moment the dancing really began!

With everyone joining the happy couple, we moved straight into the party playlist and got the evening going.

A Modern Wedding Playlist – Dance, R&B & Irish Favourites

Kelly had a clear idea of the music she wanted for her wedding party: a modern playlist, with nothing from before the 1990s!

I love it when couples give me a clear musical direction. It helps me build a soundtrack that reflects their tastes while still giving me the flexibility to read the room and keep the dance floor moving.

For Kelly and Lewis, the playlist included:

• Current dance music and modern floor-fillers.
• 2000s R&B, bringing back some brilliant party favourites.
• Irish songs for the family, adding a personal touch to the celebrations.
• 90s dance anthems for those big, hands-in-the-air moments.

It was a great combination, moving between modern dance tracks, R&B classics and those unforgettable 90s bangers.

Every wedding is different, and that’s why I don’t believe in using the same playlist for every couple. I work with you to understand your music preferences, your must-play songs and the atmosphere you want to create.

From there, I can build the evening around your choices, take requests and adapt as the party develops.

An Epic Finale – Champagne Supernova

Every great wedding party deserves a memorable finish, and Kelly and Lewis certainly picked a classic!

We brought the evening to a close with Champagne Supernova by Oasis — a fantastic finale for a brilliant night of celebrations.

From the grand entrance and hosted speeches through to the first dance, packed-out party moments and final singalong, it was a pleasure to help Kelly and Lewis celebrate their wedding day.
