What a fun night celebrating Darren & Vikki – Mr & Mrs Hefford, as I provided their evening wedding DJ entertainment at Beeston Manor!
Although this particular wedding took place at Beeston Manor, my wedding DJ services cover Preston, Samlesbury, Hoghton, Lancashire and venues right across the North West, and I love nothing more than bringing a great party to local wedding venues.
Darren & Vikki also booked my enhanced lighting package, which looked fantastic alongside my premium white wedding DJ setup and really helped bring the evening reception to life.
White Wedding DJ Setup & Enhanced Lighting
My white wedding DJ setup is designed to look smart and elegant at weddings, particularly in beautiful local venues around Preston and Lancashire.
For Darren & Vikki, we added my enhanced lighting package, giving the setup an extra bit of impact once the evening party got underway.

Mr & Mrs Hefford’s First Dance
For their first dance, Darren & Vikki chose the beautiful Your Love Amazes Me by Westlife.
The happy couple started their evening celebrations together on the dance floor, and part way through the song I invited their family and friends to join them.
And then it was straight into party time!
Once everyone was up dancing, I could really get a feel for the crowd and start building the evening around the music they were enjoying.
Two Playlists – One for the Couple & One for the Guests!
One of my favourite things about working with Darren & Vikki was that they sent me two playlists before the wedding.
The first was their personal playlist, giving me a great idea of the music they really wanted to hear throughout their evening.
The second was a playlist specifically for guest requests, which was a brilliant way of making sure their friends and family had plenty of input too.
I always encourage guests to make requests on the night as well.
While having a playlist beforehand is fantastic, there’s something really important about being able to read the room in real time.
Sometimes a song you might not have expected suddenly gets everyone singing and dancing, and that’s when you know you’ve found the vibe!
As an experienced wedding DJ, I can take those requests, work them into the evening and adapt the music as the party develops — rather than simply sticking rigidly to a pre-written playlist.
