Cake Cutting & First Dance
As the evening guests gathered, it was time to bring everyone together around the dance floor.
I hosted the cake cutting before introducing Mr & Mrs Watson onto the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
Their chosen song was the ever-popular Perfect by Ed Sheeran — a timeless wedding favourite that always creates a lovely atmosphere.
Halfway through, I invited family and friends onto the dance floor to join the happy couple, filling the room with smiling faces and setting the tone for an incredible night of celebrations.
A Soundtrack Tailored to the Happy Couple
Before the wedding, Ellie & Adam sent me a playlist to give me an idea of the atmosphere they wanted to create.
One of the things I always encourage couples to do is share their favourite music with me before the big day. It allows me to personalise the evening while still reading the room and taking requests from guests.

The dance floor stayed busy throughout the evening as we worked through a brilliant mix of music that appealed to every generation.
A Huge Double Finale
Every great wedding deserves an unforgettable ending, and Mr & Mrs Watson’s celebration certainly finished in style.
We gathered everyone together for a huge singalong to Angels by Robbie Williams before finishing with the iconic (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing.
Seeing all of the guests arm in arm, singing at the top of their voices, was the perfect way to round off another incredible wedding at Beeston Manor.
Those are exactly the moments that make weddings so memorable.
