This was my first time at this venue, and I have to say… what a hidden gem!
Lakeside Kitchen, Hambleton – A Hidden Fylde Coast Wedding Venue
As a wedding DJ covering Lancashire and the Fylde Coast, I’m always discovering new venues, and Lakeside Kitchen in Hambleton was a fantastic surprise. With its intimate upstairs function room overlooking the lake, it’s perfect for couples wanting a more relaxed, personal wedding setting.
The views, the atmosphere, and the cosy layout all combine to create something really special – ideal for a twilight wedding reception in Lancashire.
Wedding Breakfast Host & Twilight Wedding DJ
Dave & Suha booked me not only as their evening wedding DJ in Hambleton, but also as their wedding host, covering everything from 5pm right through to midnight.
As their wedding breakfast host, I:
- Delivered a grand entrance for the newlyweds
- Helped set the tone as guests were seated
- Played background music during the meal
- Ensured the whole evening flowed smoothly from start to finish

A Unique Cultural Touch – Arabic Wedding Music
One of the standout elements of this wedding was the music. Suha, who is Palestinian and originally from Bethlehem, asked for some traditional Arabic songs to be included in the day.
As a versatile Lancashire wedding DJ, I love incorporating different styles and cultural elements, so I worked these tracks into the wedding breakfast and later into the evening party.
It added something truly personal and unique to the celebration – and created some brilliant moments on the dance floor!
Cake Cutting & First Dance – Rule The World
As the evening moved on, we gathered guests for the cake cutting before moving straight into the first dance.
Dave & Suha chose an acoustic cover of Rule The World – a beautiful, emotional track that worked perfectly in the setting. Halfway through, I invited guests to join them on the dance floor, building the atmosphere and transitioning us smoothly into full party mode.
Party Time – A Dance Floor Full of Energy
From that moment on, it was all about the party!
I kept the dance floor busy with a mix of wedding classics, party favourites, and tailored requests, including dropping in Suha’s Arabic tracks whenever she hit the floor – which always went down a storm.
