As Andy B of Andy B Events, I’m lucky enough to provide wedding DJ services across the Fylde Coast, and one of my absolute favourite venues to play at is the charming Singleton Lodge Country House. I’m there regularly, and every event has its own magic – but James & Katie’s wedding reception was something truly special.

The brand-new Mr & Mrs Lee had booked me as their wedding DJ for their evening reception at Singleton Lodge (7pm until midnight), and what a night we had together! From start to finish, it was everything a great wedding celebration should be: fun, relaxed, heartfelt and full of amazing energy on the dance floor.

The Grand Introduction & First Dance

After welcoming guests and building the anticipation, I introduced the newlyweds into the room for their grand entrance as husband and wife. Then it was time for the moment everyone looks forward to – the first dance.

James & Katie chose the beautiful “The One” by Kodaline, and as I invited them onto the dance floor, the whole room filled with emotion. Partway through the song, I encouraged their guests to join them – and within seconds the dance floor was packed, hands in the air, smiles all around, and the perfect atmosphere set for the rest of the evening.

Partying All Night at Singleton Lodge

From there, we partied right through until the big finish at midnight. As a professional wedding DJ on the Fylde Coast, I always tailor the music to each couple and crowd, and this one was a brilliant mix of:
