Hosting & DJing for Mr & Mrs Jennings’ Wedding at Beeston Manor – DJ Andy B

Another incredible wedding celebration at Beeston Manor!
I’ve been proud to be a recommended wedding DJ and host at Beeston Manor near Preston since 2010, and it’s always a pleasure to be back at one of Lancashire’s most loved wedding venues. This time, I had the honour of looking after Andy & Sammy (Mr & Mrs Jennings) for their full wedding day – both the wedding breakfast hosting and the evening reception.

Hosting the Wedding Breakfast

The couple had asked me to host their wedding breakfast, which included providing background music throughout the meal, introducing the happy couple into the room, and creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Towards the end of food, I ramped things up a little with some singalong fun to get everyone in the mood for the speeches – always a great way to bridge into the evening celebrations!

The Evening Reception

As evening guests arrived, I set the tone with some warm-up tracks before inviting everyone to gather around the dance floor for the big moment – the first dance.

Andy & Sammy had chosen “I’ll Be” by Edwin McCain – a beautiful and heartfelt choice. They even had a short routine for the first couple of minutes, before I invited guests to join them on the dance floor for the rest of the song. That moment really filled the room with energy and set the stage for a brilliant night of celebration!

The Music – Wedding Classics That Never Fail

Before the day, the couple sent me a great list of requests – a perfect mix of mainstream wedding classics from artists like Whitney Houston, Toploader, Robbie Williams, ABBA, Shania Twain, and Queen, right through to floor-filling party hits like “Proud Mary” and an emotional finale with “Don’t Look Back in Anger”.

It was one of those nights where the dance floor was busy from start to finish, filled with laughter, singing, and plenty of great moves!

Extra Touch – Light Up LOVE Letters

In addition to my DJ and hosting services, Andy & Sammy also hired our 5ft commercial white light-up LOVE letters, which looked fantastic set up in the Beeston Manor conservatory. These are one of the few proper, high-quality sets of LOVE letters available in the North West, and they really added that extra sparkle to the room décor and evening photos.
