Last night I had the absolute pleasure of DJ’ing for the evening reception of Jonny & Lauren Rigby (Mr & Mrs Rigby) at the stunning Browsholme Hall & Tithe Barn, Clitheroe. As a professional wedding DJ in Clitheroe, I’ve played at many beautiful venues across Lancashire, but the Tithe Barn always has such a special atmosphere – especially when paired with my enhanced lighting set-up, which looked fantastic in the rustic space!

Ahead of the night, the happy couple sent me a brilliant and comprehensive playlist filled with classic rock and pop hits from the last 40 years. It gave me the perfect foundation to plan the evening and keep their guests on the dance floor all night long.

The evening kicked off in style with their first dance: the timeless “At Last” by Etta James. Partway through the track, I invited their guests to join them on the dance floor – and from that moment on, the floor never emptied!

We danced, we sang, and we celebrated until the finale that Jonny & Lauren had carefully chosen. The last three songs went down a storm:

• “Proud Mary” – always guaranteed to get the room moving.

• “The Final Countdown” – a real hands-in-the-air anthem!

• “Livin’ on a Prayer” – the ultimate singalong to finish the night with a bang.

The energy in the barn was electric, and it was an honour to help create memories that Jonny, Lauren, and their family and friends will never forget. A huge congratulations once again to Mr & Mrs Rigby – what a night!
