Wednesday was another unforgettable day at one of my favourite Lancashire venues – Beeston Manor!
I’ve been performing here since 2010, and it’s always a pleasure to be back as one of their regular, trusted wedding suppliers. This time, I had the honour of celebrating with Naomi & James Forshaw (Mr & Mrs Forshaw), who tied the knot in a beautiful 3pm ceremony at Beeston Manor.
Hosting the Wedding Breakfast
I joined the couple’s celebrations from 5pm, providing my wedding hosting and DJ services throughout the wedding breakfast. I introduced Naomi & James into the room to a fantastic welcome from their guests, then organised a fun “photo dash” (always a great icebreaker!) before hosting the speeches. Throughout dinner, I played a carefully selected mix of background music to create the perfect atmosphere.
Evening Reception… White LED Dance Floor & LOVE Letters
For the evening, Naomi & James had also hired our fabulous 14ft white LED dance floor and large LOVE letters – both looked amazing alongside my white wedding DJ setup in Beeston Manor’s beautiful conservatory. The room looked absolutely stunning and set the scene for an incredible night of celebration, fabulous for spotlight moments…
First Dance & Party Vibes
The couple’s first dance was performed to “Shallow” by Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper – a timeless choice that perfectly captured the emotion of the moment. I then invited everyone to join Naomi & James on the dance floor for their second song, “Land of 1000 Dances” by Wilson Pickett – and just like that, the party was on!
Playlist & Ibiza Sax Energy
Before the big day, Naomi had sent me a brilliant and detailed playlist that mixed Ibiza-style bangers, party favourites, and some carnival-inspired RnB. To really elevate the vibe, they also had a saxophonist perform alongside my DJ sets for an hour – the Ibiza energy was absolutely electric!
It was a truly fabulous day and night from start to finish, Naomi chose Kodaline ‘The One’ to end the night on…
