Saturday night was another amazing celebration at one of my favourite Lancashire venues – Beeston Manor!
I’ve been a regular wedding DJ at Beeston Manor near Preston since 2010, and it’s always a pleasure to return. The staff, the setting, and the couples I meet there make it a true highlight of my work. It’s great to know that both the venue and their clients can trust me to deliver the perfect soundtrack for their big day!
This time, I had the pleasure of DJing for Liam & Sally’s evening reception – and what a night it was!
The First Dance
Ahead of the first dance, I invited all the guests to gather around the outskirts of the dance floor to create that special atmosphere as the newlyweds made their entrance. Liam & Sally performed their first dance to “Head Over Boots” by Jon Pardi – a lovely choice that fit their personalities perfectly.
Partway through, I encouraged guests to join the happy couple, which filled the dance floor and really kicked the evening off in style!
The Playlist – A Perfect Mix for Everyone
Before the big day, Liam & Sally told me they wanted a great mix of music, covering everything from Country and Motown to 90s Britpop, classic rock, and rock ’n’ roll. We even had a few fun singalongs and a cheeky party dance – “Oops Upside Your Head” (by request, I promise!) – which everyone jumped into with great energy.
It was one of those weddings where the dance floor stayed packed all night, with guests of all ages getting involved and enjoying every song.
