Friday night at Singleton Lodge was pure magic!
Leila & Sam (Mr & Mrs Mahdavi-Thraves) chose me – Andy B, North West Wedding DJ – to provide the soundtrack for their special day, along with our stunning 12 ft white LED dance floor for their evening reception. Singleton Lodge is one of my favourite intimate Lancashire venues, and it was the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration.
The First Dance – Stargazing by Myles Smith
After dinner, I invited guests to gather round the edges of the dance floor as I introduced the happy couple into the room. As Stargazing by Myles Smith began to play, Leila and Sam took to the floor for their first dance as a married couple. The atmosphere was electric – a mix of romance and excitement – and halfway through the song, I encouraged everyone to join them on the dance floor. Instantly the room filled with friends, family and smiles; it was the perfect way to kick-start the party vibes!
Crafting the Perfect Playlist
Before the big day, Leila and Sam sent me a fantastic, detailed playlist. They included plenty of Popworld-style favourites, mixed with classic and indie-rock anthems, guaranteeing a full dance floor all night long. From sing-along classics to floor-filling modern hits, the blend kept the energy high right through to the last song.
Our Stunning White LED Dance Floor
Our 12 ft white LED dance floor really completed the look – a beautiful centrepiece that fit perfectly within Singleton Lodge’s elegant reception room. The sparkling lights added a magical touch for those all-important first-dance photos and helped create a real wow-factor for the evening party.
