Last Sunday I had the absolute pleasure of providing my wedding DJ services at Beeston Manor for the evening reception of Emma & Tom, now Mr & Mrs Carney. Beeston Manor in Lancashire is one of my regular venues, and it never fails to impress. For their special day, I set up in the beautiful conservatory, which looks stunning at night – especially with my signature white wedding DJ set up that always adds a touch of class to the evening.
As the evening reception began, I invited guests into the conservatory before welcoming Emma & Tom onto the dance floor for their cake cut and first dance. These are such important spotlight moments and really help set the tone for the celebration. Their chosen first dance song was a beautiful cover of Country Roads by Lana Del Rey.
After about a minute, I smoothly transitioned into the Hermes House Band’s upbeat party version – which got everyone clapping along and joining the bride & groom on the dance floor. From that moment, it was party time!

The dance floor was buzzing all night long with guests singing, dancing, and celebrating the newlyweds. To finish the evening in style, we had a huge singalong to Oasis’ Don’t Look Back in Anger
and Green Day’s Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) – a perfect ending to a brilliant night at Beeston Manor.
It was an honour to be part of Emma & Tom’s wedding day, and I wish them both the very best as they start their married life together.
