We had the absolute pleasure of providing wedding entertainment in Southport for the beautiful wedding of James & Terri-Ann Barton (Mr & Mrs Barton) at the stunning Meols Hall, a charming and historic venue nestled in Churchtown, Southport. From the romantic ceremony to the high-energy evening party, this day was one to remember & we were thrilled to be a part of it!
Elegant Ceremony with Monzino String Quartet at Meols Hall 
To set the tone for a magical day, the happy couple booked our Monzino String Quartet to perform throughout the ceremony and drinks reception. The quartet added an elegant and emotional touch, playing a selection of modern pop songs with a classical twist.
- Bridal Entrance: How Long Will I Love You – a breath taking choice for Terri-Ann’s walk down the aisle.
- Signing of the Register: You’re Beautiful & Bonfire Heart – heartfelt and intimate.
- Exit Music: It Must Be Love – a perfect celebration as Mr & Mrs Barton made their grand exit.
The Monzino Quartet continued to entertain guests during the drinks reception with an eclectic mix of modern classical arrangements – proving once again why they’re a popular choice for wedding ceremonies in Southport.

Evening Reception with Southport Wedding DJ Andy B 
As the sun set over Meols Hall, it was time to get the party started! Wedding DJ Andy B took over for the evening reception, bringing his trademark energy, professionalism & crowd-pleasing style.
The couple opted for our premium lighting package, which transformed the barn at Meols Hall into a vibrant party space. This upgrade included four lit podiums with moving lights, adding that extra “wow” factor and creating a true dance floor experience.
Their first dance was to the beautiful track Ordinary by Alex Warren – a special moment shared just between the newlyweds for the first minute. Then, Andy invited guests to join in, filling the dance floor with love and laughter.
A Personalised DJ Experience 
Rather than supply a playlist, Mr & Mrs Barton trusted Andy B’s experience and allowed him to read the room and take guest requests. This resulted in a fantastic party atmosphere with something for everyone. From sing-along anthems to dance floor bangers, Andy kept the party going all night long.
The evening ended on a high with the entire crowd singing their hearts out to Don’t Look Back in Anger by Oasis – the perfect finale to an unforgettable celebration.
