What an unforgettable day celebrating the love of Jamie and Katie Lynch at the stunning Beeston Manor in the heart of Lancashire! As a professional wedding DJ and host, it’s days like these that remind me why I love what I do. From curating the perfect playlist for their ceremony to bringing the energy right through to their final dance, I had the absolute pleasure of soundtracking and hosting their entire wedding day.
A Beautiful Wedding Ceremony at Beeston Manor
Jamie and Katie chose the gorgeous Beeston Manor, one of Lancashire’s premier wedding venues, to tie the knot. They opted for my full-day DJ and hosting package, which meant I was there from the very start to help set the tone for their perfect day.
For the wedding ceremony, they provided a personalised selection of songs to play during the most important moments:
- Bride’s Entrance: a truly emotional moment as Katie walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of ‘Enchanted’
- Signing of the Register: a beautiful mix of mellow tunes chosen by the couple
- Ceremony Exit: uplifting cover of ‘How Long Will I Love You’ to celebrate their first moments as husband and wife
Every track was perfectly timed to enhance the atmosphere of the ceremony, and their choices made it incredibly personal.
Hosting the Wedding Breakfast – More Than Just a DJ
After the ceremony, it was straight into wedding host mode as I introduced the new Mr & Mrs Lynch into the reception room for their wedding breakfast. Beeston Manor looked amazing, and the energy in the room was brilliant.
Throughout the afternoon, I:
- Played a carefully curated playlist to set the perfect mood
- Gradually ramped up the vibe as the meal progressed
- Hosted and introduced the wedding speeches – always a highlight!
- Ended the afternoon with the ever-popular Mr & Mrs game (aka The Shoe Game), which had everyone laughing and cheering along
This part of the day is where I really get to connect with the guests, and it’s where a professional wedding host in Lancashire can make all the difference.
Evening Party – LED Dance Floor, Cake Cut, and First Dances
For the evening celebration, Jamie and Katie pulled out all the stops. They hired our 14×12ft white LED dance floor, which looked absolutely stunning in the conservatory at Beeston Manor. If you’re planning a wedding there, I can’t recommend this feature enough, it transforms the room into a true party space.
The evening kicked off with:
Cake Cutting – introduced with style and smiles
A touching Father-Daughter Dance, as Katie danced with her dad
Followed by the First Dance as husband and wife to “Little Things” by One Direction
Midway through their first dance, I invited the rest of the guests to join them…
& from there, we launched into full wedding party DJ mode until 12:30am. The dance floor was packed all night long, and the energy was electric…
