What a fantastic day yesterday at The Glass House at Staining Lodge in Blackpool, Lancashire – I had the absolute pleasure of DJing for Esther & Luke Butterworth as they celebrated their twilight wedding in one of the most stunning venues in the region. As a professional wedding DJ based in Lancashire, it’s always a privilege to be a part of a couple’s big day, and this one was definitely one to remember!
Hosting the Afternoon & Soundtracking the Evening
Esther and Luke hired me to host the afternoon and DJ right through to the evening, and despite it being one of the hottest days of the year, the atmosphere was incredible from start to finish. Guests were buzzing, the drinks were flowing, and the dance floor was bouncing – even in the heat! The Glass House is one of my favourite venues to work at in the Blackpool area, and I’m proud to say they regularly recommend my wedding DJ services to their couples. we started at 6pm as guests made their way to their seats, ahead of the Bride & Groom’s grand entrance! I then hosted the speeches from Father of the Bride Darren, the 2 best men Luke & Curtis followed by the groom Luke. After food, guests made their way into the beautiful garden area as we had a short turnaround for the evening.

The early evening ceremony led perfectly into a relaxed reception, and I tailored the music throughout to match the vibe, from chilled acoustic tunes during the welcome drinks to party classics and floor-fillers as the night kicked off.
