Always a pleasure to provide our wedding DJ services to clients celebrating at the Place Aparthotel in Manchester city centre (near Piccadilly station).
The Place Aparthotel is a great setting for wedding parties. The exposed brickwork, high barrel ceilings and iron beams and columns complement the requirements of the modern-day bridal party beautifully.
On this occasion, the happy couple had booked our popular wedding DJ Gary for their evening reception running from 7.30pm till 1am.

Our DJ’s bring a modern sound & light show. They carry a comprehensive selection of music & will be able to cater for most requests on the night, which is something he’ll encourage. Beforehand, we’d put you in touch so that you can go through specific requests for the evening including the first dance & any other special songs (as well as any you don’t want playing!). At this point, you could, if you so wish, prepare a whole set list, which they’ll be happy to work from as required. Some wedding clients compile a list of their guests favourite dance floor songs to play from which, again isn’t a problem. You can have as much pre event communication as required to ensure we get it just right on the night.
As well as the disco, they also act as the host for the evening – introducing for example, the cake cutting & first dance, announcing the buffet/band etc. Dress code for a wedding is normally suit & tie as appropriate the occasion. We’re there all night & will fit in with how you want your evening to run. But if you do want any suggestions for timings etc, you can discuss it with the DJ.
As a guide, expect to pay £295 to cover up to 5.5 hours playing time (from 7.30pm till 1am for example). Based on the DJ arriving approx. 1 hour prior to set up. Any additional time is £30 per hour which could include playing through your wedding breakfast & even the ceremony if it’s taking place in the hotel.
Up lighters are a popular add on in the function rooms at the Place hotel, placed around the room against the walls & corners set to a colour of your choice to help set the atmosphere. Prices from £120 for 12 when booked with the DJ.
