Great fun to be involved in James & Sarah’s big day at the Waterhead Hotel in Coniston. The Waterhead enjoys a unique location on the edge of Coniston Water which is at the end of the hotel gardens and with views from the front of the hotel across towards Coniston with its backdrop of the magnificent Old Man of Coniston mountain.
They had decided on a Tipi wedding which was erected in the hotel grounds rather than the traditional marquee used for larger weddings at the Waterhead.
They hired DJ Andy B to cover not just the evening reception but also to play throughout the wedding breakfast. Excellent day! Had the following text from James the groom a couple of days later…
‘Hi Andy, massive thanks for the great party. Think you saw the feedback on the night for yourself, the dance floor was always full! We have also had lots of lovely feedback since too. We had a great time at the end of our perfect day & loved the music you played – thanks again, James & Sarah.’
Despite the weather looking quite ominous, it stayed pretty much dry throughout & not too windy, which is good when you’re celebrating in a Tipi!
The bride & groom invited in to see the Tipi set up before letting guests in for the wedding breakfast…
The wedding breakfast with music throughout from DJ Andy B plus use of his wireless microphone for speeches & any other announcements…
After the wedding breakfast & speeches, guests were invited back into the hotel whilst the Tipi was made ready for the evening reception…
