26th July ’14 – Always a pleasure to be providing our wedding DJ services at the Dunkenhalgh hotel on the outskirts of Blackburn in Clayton Le Moors.
On this occasion Chris & Sarah McKay hired wedding DJ favourite Andy B (recommended by the wedding coordinator at the Dunkenhalgh) for their evening reception in the Towneley Suite from 7.30pm till 1am.
Their first dance was too One Direction ‘You & I’ & guests joined the happy couple on the dance floor before we set off the exploding balloon! The bride & groom had provided a playlist of around 40 songs which our wedding DJ’s are happy to play from if required. Most were fairly mainstream modern chart & party hits anyway & guests got into the spirit of the night!
Quite a lot of the guests were Scottish & the playlist included ‘500 miles’ & a finale to ‘Loch Lomond’! Top night! All the best to Sarah & Chris!
As a guide, prices for our wedding DJ’s at the Dunkenhalgh hotel starts from £250 which covers 5 hours (7pm till midnight for example). Any additional time is £30 per hour, this could include setting up & covering the wedding breakfast &/or a later finish.
