20th April ’14 – Hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs McLaughlin’s wedding party at the Castle Green hotel in Kendal. First time I’ve played here myself, although it is a popular wedding venue & we’ve been involved in quite a few wedding parties there.
Their first dance was performed to the Wannadies ‘you & me’, they wanted guests to join them part way through as were a little conscious about being stood there in front of everyone! As it happens, they did well!
Thereafter was party time! Played a mix of music from the 60’s right through to the current chart & party favourites which seemed to keep everyone buzzing along till the midnight hour!
