25th March ’14 – Hired to provide the soundtrack to Mr & Mrs Bean’s big day at the Place Hotel in Manchester city centre.
‘Team Bean’ (as they are known!) booked my wedding DJ services to cover their wedding breakfast & then the evening reception at this unique 4 star apartment hotel close to Piccadilly station in Manchester.
Throughout the wedding breakfast, they had requested the likes of Michael Buble & Motown hits. Then I hosted the speeches by the best man, brother of the bride & the groom himself.
Their first dance was performed to Christina Perri ‘a 1000 years’ then not much in the way of requests for the evening, just a mix of 80’s, current, Soul & R&B which was very popular!
The only specific song was ‘Gotta feeling’ as that was the first song they ever danced too!
Top night, we had a full floor pretty much all the way through the evening & managed a big finale to Dionne Warwick ‘That’s what friends are for’, great party for a Tuesday night!
Had lots of nice comments on my facebook page such as – Nicky Bean Awww Thanks Andy B Events We had the BEST night! You are a legend! …Much love ‘Team Bean!’
