22nd September ’13 – Hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Richmond’s big day at the Marriott hotel in Preston. Played at this hotel on many occasions, going back to before it was a Marriott, Broughton Country Club if memory serves me right! Nice setting for a wedding party, on the outskirts of Preston.

As well as my disco services, they also booked my good friend & great wedding singer, Mr Paul Guard to perform throughout the wedding breakfast & an early evening set which started with the first dance. I gathered everyone around the dance floor before inviting the bride & groom up to cut their cake & then hand over to Paul who went straight into his rendition of Buble’s ‘Close your eyes’.

After Paul’s set of live hits, we had a disco break whilst the buffet was served before starting up the dancing again. Very pleasant evening, quite a laid back intimate feel to the night, but guests got into the party spirit & we even managed a finale to ‘New York New York’ before finishing with their requested song which was Buble’s cover of ‘Save the last dance for me’.
