21st September ’13 – Hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Darke’s evening reception at the Merewood Country House Hotel overlooking Windermere. Fab wedding venue!
They had booked me from 7.30pm till 1am. We got their cake cutting & first dance underway around an hour into the evening. They performed their first dance to ‘It must be love’ from Madness.
Guests soon joined in – 
Helen & Mike had sent me a small request list which was made up from guest requests & a few of their own & included some classic rock, Indie, 80’s & 90’s pop, Beatles, Stones, & specifics such as Born in the USA, Proud Mary, Africa, Summer of 69 & Get Lucky!
Top night all round, other than a short break for the buffet, guests kept the dance floor busy right through to our finale to ‘New York New York’, all the best to Mr & Mrs Darke!

As a guide, throughout Windermere, expect to pay £295 to cover the first 5 hours playing time (7pm till midnight for example) any additional time which could include a later finish or setting up before your wedding breakfast & playing throughout is £30 per hour.
As well as the disco lighting, I can also provide uplighters to help set the atmosphere, these cost £14 each or £120 for a set of 12.
