24th August ’13 – Andy B Events were pleased to supply our most experienced wedding DJ Ged for Christina’s big day at the Old Moat Hall, Chelford. First time we’ve been involved in a wedding at the Old Moat Hall, but I had no hesitation in recommending Ged who often plays for wedding parties at some of the nicest Cheshire wedding venues including Arley Hall, Rookery hall, Doubletree by Hilton, Chester (who also have him for their new years eve party every year), The Hilton & Marriott at Manchester airport & Worsley Park, Mere Court & Mere Golf, The Monastery, Moorside Grange, Mottram hall, Rookery hall, Wild Boar etc.
His full mobile rig consists of a top quality sound system (as appropriate for the size of your party) & a selection of professional lighting effects. He carries a comprehensive selection of music & will be able to cater for most requests on the night, which is something he’ll encourage. Beforehand, I’d put you in touch with each other so that you can go through your specific requests for the evening including your first dance & any other special songs (as well as any you don’t want playing!). At this point, you could, if you so wish, prepare a whole set list, which he’ll be happy to work from as required. You can have as much pre event communication as required to ensure we get it just right on the night.
As well as the disco, he will also act as the host for the evening – introducing for example, the cake cutting & first dance, announcing the buffet etc. His dress code for a wedding is normally suit & tie as appropriate the occasion. He’s there all night & will fit in with how you want your evening to run. But if you do want any suggestions for timings etc, you can discuss it with Ged.
The cost for Ged playing with his full mobile rig in the Cheshire area from 7pm till 12am is £295 then £30 per hour for any additional time. To secure the booking, we would require a small deposit, then the balance would be due in cash on the night.
