28th August ’13 – Hired as wedding DJ for Andrew & Ria’s big day at Ferrari’s country House in Longridge near Preston. Lovely wedding venue in the heart of rural Lancashire. They booked me to play from 7.30pm till midnight.

We got the first dance underway around 8.30pm which they performed to Elbow ‘On a day like this’, quite a long song so I invited guests to join in about half way through.

 After the first dance we had a little cabaret! Some dancer friends of the happy couple did a short routine followed by a 40 minute set from a singer friend of theirs.

Then, after the buffet, we got the main disco going which included several of the current chart favourites, Ria was particularly into ‘Blurred Lines’! I also threw in quite a few wedding floorfillers which kept us busy right through till the midnight hour!
