3rd August ’13 – First time I’ve played at the Bellavista Italian restaurant. Quite a stylish venue in Rochdale with a fairly large ground floor function room. Mr & Mrs Jones were celebrating their big day at the restaurant & had booked me for the evening reception from 7.30pm till midnight.

Their first dance was performed to Queen ‘you’re my best friend’. Sarah & Andrew had then pretty much left it up to me in terms of music for the night, requesting pop & rock from the 80’s, 90’s & 00’s, although they did like those 80’s ‘soft rock’ anthems from Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Queen & Guns n Roses! I’d also promised to play ‘Gangnam’ for the children early doors!
