21st July ’13 Was pleased to be hired to supply a complete disco & entertainment package for Maverick’s Bar Mitzvah at the Victoria & Albert Marriott in Manchester city centre.
As well as providing my usual Bar Mitzvah disco services, we also supplied staging (6m * 3m), our 16ft white LED dance floor, 6*3 m starcloth as a backdrop & 20 uplighters around the room.
Additionally, we also hired in some break dancers to perform a mini routine & demonstrate their moves with the guests!
Fab night! After a drinks reception in the foyer bar, guests were welcomed into the function room (John Logie Baird suite). Then we introduced Maverick’s brothers & finally the main man! Then we had some traditional Israeli dancing (supplied by me) before a welcome speech from Maverick’s father & formal dinner with toasts & speeches etc as you would expect at a Bar Mitzvah.
After the first course, the break dancers came out to strut their stuff, getting the younger guests involved!
After dinner, we had a short disco break then it was time for the live music which came from a popular local Katy Perry tribute before rounding off the night with more disco!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for the marvellous job you did for us last Sunday night. The music was perfect you played all the songs everyone wanted to hear and the dance floor was filled all night long.
We loved the mad city breakers they were excellent and the equipment, the dance floor, stage, uplighters and star cloth you brought too helped to make the room look incredible .
We were absolutely delighted with everything and would definitely use you again.
