5th July ’13 – As always at this time of year, I provide my DJ services for quite a few school proms throughout the North West. Tonight was the turn of Bispham High School who were celebrating in the Washington Suite of the Imperial hotel on Blackpool sea front.

Fab night! The prom ran from 7pm till midnight, with photo opportunities to start with followed by welcome drinks & buffet, then we were ready to get the main disco going. I’d already had quite a few requests including ‘Cha Cha Slide’ which I thought would be fun to start off with! Guests quickly got into position on the dance floor & away we went! Managed to take a short video clip of them starting it off –

The dance floor then remained packed for the rest of the night! Current chart favourites dominated the night with a mix of party classics thrown in for good measure! We also had a bit of soft rock including Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams & Journey. At least 2 of these were requests from the teachers, but the students were happy enough to join in too!

We then had a big finish to ‘Time of my life’ from Dirty Dancing which topped the night off perfectly!
