29th May ’13 – Was pleased to be hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Johns’ big day at Rowton Hall hotel & spa near Chester. Fab hotel for a wedding party in the Chester area, we’ve been involved in quite a few weddings & events there.

Adam & Zoe had booked me to play from 7.30pm till 12.30am which is the official finish time for weddings at Rowton hall. Around 8.15pm, we got the cake cutting followed by the first dance underway. They performed their first dance to ‘Everlasting Love’ from Love Affair. Part way through the dance, I invited guests to join the bride & groom (as previously arranged with them). Not long after the first dance, we dropped it down a little for the buffet, then it was party time!

Zoe & Adam had sent me a fairly comprehensive playlist with a mix of all kinds of genres, some from the guests & some of their own favourites, I ploughed through them as best as I could & also had a few requests on the night. We finished off with ‘Wonderful Tonight’ a special request for the bride & groom!

Everything was spot on, and you managed to get all our requested tunes played and loads more besides. The DJ booth looked great and loads of our aunts etc came up and said ‘how nice it was that that young man with the music is wearing a suit’, so you definitely looked the part too!

We had a brilliant day and the music in the evening just topped it off brilliantly. Several relatives who have never been spotted in the vicinity of a dance floor in the past also got up there so the music choices were great!
