31st May ’13 – Andy B Events were pleased to be involved in 2 weddings in the South Lakes District. I was personally providing my wedding disco for Anna & Greg Turner at Storrs Hall. Storrs Hall is a four-star hotel on the banks of Windermere in the Lake District, Cumbria. The hotel, a Grade II listed Georgian mansion is a fab setting for a wedding party.
Greg & Anna picked Emeli sande ‘River’ as their first dance & we invited guests to join in after a minute or so. Thereafter, it was party time, thaey had mentioned a handful of artistes they wanted to hear such as Coldplay, Take That, Snap ‘Rhythm is a Dancer’ & other cheesy 90’s hits! We even had a Cliff Richards track thrown in for the mother of the bride! Anna was clearly a Take That fan & had asked for a finale to ‘Greatest Day’ & ‘Never Forget’! Great fun! All the best to Mr & Mrs Turner!
Had the following mail from them shortly afterwards:
‘Hi Andy
I just wanted to email and say thank you so much for Friday. We had an amazing day, and the music was great, even Greg was on the dance floor.
It was even mentioned to us that some of our guests loved the double ‘take that’ at the end of the night.
