12th May ’13 – Was hired as kids entertainer for 2 birthday parties today. The first was Lucia’s 5th birthday party which her parents held in the Theatre Bar at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool town centre. First time I’ve worked in the Theatre bar, nice little venue for a kids party in Blackpool town centre. They had hired my 2 hour kids party package which includes 10 mins or so of music & plate spinning as the children arrive, then the magical fun show complete with modelling balloons & lots of party fun! Then a buffet break & more party games & dances to finish off with including the Limbo competition. On this occasion, Lucia’s parents had prepared a pass the parcel which I hosted. Although not essential, some children, especially the younger ones still enjoy the game!

Thank you for Sunday, Lucia and her friends had a really good time!
Then it was on to Haighton Manor, a Lancashire Manor House on the outskirts of Preston. This time for an 80th birthday party! David, the birthday boy(!) was hosting a family get together/lunch for his birthday & had 8 grand children to keep amused! He hired me to provide my magical fun show for an hour after the lunch. Really good fun, I threw in the plate spinning, balloon modelling & limbo to mix it all up a bit & got David involved too!
