19th April ’13 – Was pleased to be involved in Sarah & Phil’s wedding at Bartle Hall Hotel, Preston. They were celebrating in the Windsor suite which is the in the main hotel at the front. They hired me as their wedding DJ from 7.30pm till 1am plus 2 of our fun casino tables in the Garden room from 6.30pm till 8.30pm.
Our casino tables have become very popular for wedding parties. Most wedding clients hire them as some peripheral entertainment for after the wedding breakfast. There is usually an hour’s gap whilst the room is turned round for the evening reception. Then we carry on through the first hour of the evening which serves as a bit of an ice breaker for the evening guests
Around 8.45pm I rounded everybody up the cake cutting & their first dance which was performed to the Cure ‘Just like Heaven’.
Then it was party time, had a few requests from Sarah (the bride) which were fairly mainstream. Also, had requests for Motown, Rock n Roll & a few current chart hits. The groom & his mates liked some Indie, we warmed up with some Pulp before moving on to Stone Roses, Oasis, James etc. Of course we had ‘Brightside’ & ‘Sex on Fire’! Played ‘Champagne Supernova’ towards the end before our big finish to ‘New York New York’!
Great night had by all!

As a guide, we charge £250 to cover playing times of 7.30pm till 1am or for smaller parties you may prefer to just go through till 12 midnight which is sometimes late enough anyway if you’ve had a long day! In which case, we can reduce the fee down to £225.
Our fun casino tables are probably the nicest in the area & come complete with croupiers, funny money, gaming chips & a bottle of bubbly for the winner on the night. Our 2 tables (blackjack & roulette) cost £395 for 2 hours gaming. 2 tables is generally enough for small to medium sized wedding parties of up to 100 guests. For larger parties you can hire additional casino tables for £175 each. price is based on the staff arriving approx 1 hour before gaming starts so they can set up.
