16th & 17th March ’13 – Was hired as DJ for Danny’s Bar Mitzvah which was actually a 2 night event. We had the family dinner party on the Saturday night then a more informal disco for Danny & his friends on the Sunday night. Both parties were at his parent’s house in a marquee in the garden in the Woolton area of Liverpool.

So, on the Saturday night we had a drinks reception followed by dinner during which time I played some suitable background music. Just a couple of speeches which they used my handheld wireless microphone. After the formalities, it was time to get the party started! I opened up with the Hora numbers as usual for a Bar Mitzvah & we soon had everybody up for the traditional Jewish dancing & of course getting Danny & his dad up in the air on their chairs!

Danny’s mum shared the above picture on facebook along with the following comment ‘A great dj for your Bar Mitzvah. He’s got the Jewish music you need. Takes requests. Back tonight for Dannys mates’

After the Jewish music, it was back to regular party favourites & a busy dance floor all night!

Sunday night was a very different party! No formalities, just 60 or so of Danny’s friends partying away! It was quite similar to a school disco or prom, lots of current chart music & few party dances & even a limbo competition! Complete with lots of throw outs such as party hats, blowers, fake moustaches(!) & glow sticks.
